Ocotillo Technology Fabrication Shift Group Leader

About the role

The Shift Group Leader (GL) at Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (OTF) works a compressed schedule and reports directly to module team leaders and department managers. The GL is responsible for the performance, development, and employee relations of technicians working on shifts.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a roadmap to meet goals against area/shift metrics in safety, quality, availability, velocity, affordability, and training.
• May lead IMT, Production, or TMI activities for the factory.
• Set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
• Plan and schedule daily tasks, use judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry.
• Demonstrated aptitude to interact with vendor field service engineering support and manufacturing technicians on toolsets.
• Previous people management and/or leadership experience.
• Technical expertise within Semiconductor Process engineering and ability to provide technical direction on quality issues.
• Data analysis skills and a good understanding of basic statistics.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry.
• Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated aptitude to interact with vendor field service engineering support and manufacturing technicians on toolsets, previous people management and/or leadership experience, technical expertise within Semiconductor Process engineering and ability to provide technical direction on quality issues, data analysis skills and a good understanding of basic statistics.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $89,010.00 - 170,630.00 USD
