Ocotillo Technology Fabrication Dry Etch Module Team Leader
About the Role
An Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (OTF) Dry Etch Module Team Leader works a shift schedule and reports directly to a department manager. The Module Team Leader (MTL) is responsible for the performance, development, and employee relations of engineers and technicians. The MTL partners with other Group Leaders and MTLs to operate as one team, ensuring consistency in results across all functional areas. Responsibilities include driving the roadmap to meet goals against area/shift metrics in safety, cost, quality, availability, training, and employee relations. The candidate will support segment team activities, including IMT leadership, Production leadership, or TMI leadership for the factory, and serve as a role model for the culture, setting the standard for expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the performance, development, and employee relations of engineers and technicians.
- Partner with other Group Leaders and MTLs to ensure consistency in results across functional areas.
- Develop and execute a roadmap to meet goals for safety, cost, quality, availability, training, and employee relations.
- Support segment team activities, including IMT, Production, or TMI leadership for the factory.
- Act as a role model for company culture and set expectations for living the culture.
- Exhibit excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Lead technical taskforces and resolve complex technical issues.
- Demonstrate tolerance of ambiguity and commitment to task.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related science or engineering field with 4+ years of process engineering experience in wafer fabrication, OR
- Master's degree in a related science or engineering field with 2+ years of process engineering experience in wafer fabrication, OR
- Ph.D. in a related science or engineering field.
- 1+ year of experience in semiconductor process flow, equipment troubleshooting, and Model-Based Problem Solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interacting with vendor field service engineering support and manufacturing/engineering technicians on toolsets.
- Semiconductor processing engineering experience with the ability to provide technical direction on quality issues.
- Strong data analysis skills.

Pay
Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $120,860.00 - $231,670.00 USD. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
This role follows a Shift 1 schedule in the United States of America and requires an on-site presence.
