Ocotillo Technology Fabrication Dry Etch Shift Group Leader

About the role

The Shift Group Leader (GL) at Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (OTF) works a compressed schedule and reports directly to module team leaders and department managers. The GL is responsible for the performance, development, and employee relations of technicians working on shift.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a roadmap to meet goals against area/shift metrics in safety, quality, availability, velocity, affordability, and training.
• May be responsible for other activities including IMT leadership, Production leadership, or TMI leadership for the factory.
• Show leadership qualities with a proven track record of delivering results, through people, for a project or sustained effort.
• Set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
• Plan and schedule daily tasks, use judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry OR Associates degree with 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry.
• Experience with people management and/or leadership experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor fabrication environment, specializing in Dry Etch processes.
• Experience with vendor field service engineering support and manufacturing technicians toolsets.
• Technical expertise within Semiconductor Process engineering and be able to provide technical direction on quality issues.
• Data analysis skills and have a good understanding of basic statistics.
