About the role
Browns Valley Health Center is a supportive, collaborative skilled nursing facility seeking a Full-time Occupational Therapist Assistant / COTA.
Responsibilities
- Assist Occupational Therapists in providing patient-centered care
- Implement treatment plans based on therapist’s direction
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and activities accurately
Requirements
- Licensed COTA in Minnesota
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited COTA program
- Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
