Role Overview: The Occupational Therapist Assistant - Per Diem provides in-home occupational therapy to help patients regain their physical abilities, following state laws and supervising OT plans of care. Key Responsibilities Implement treatment plans within legal scope, instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques.Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to supervisors and physicians.Adapt to diverse home environments, providing care regardless of age, race, creed, or financial status. Qualifications & Skills Current licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to reliable transportation.Certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (state-specific requirement).Preferred CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
