About the role

The occupational therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to restore or improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise treatment plans with patient and family input
• Provide education and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with physicians on ongoing evaluation and goal setting
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans in compliance with departmental and regulatory standards
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical practices
• Participate in professional development and foster a positive patient and team environment
• Comply with organizational policies and actively participate in meetings and training

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid therapist licensure
• BLS certification
