About the role
We are seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist specializing in Behavioral Health to provide patient-centered care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Conducting structured evaluations and developing treatment plans for individuals with psychosocial dysfunction
- Implementing activity programs aligned with patient needs
- Providing supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Ensuring services adhere to the organization’s mission and values
- Utilizing appropriate knowledge based on patient age to meet physical and psychosocial needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Initial OT certification by AOTCB or NBCOT
- Current Maryland OT licensure
- CPR certification (AHA Healthcare Provider)
- Less than 2 years of professional experience preferred
