About the role

Occupational Therapist provides outpatient rehabilitation services primarily in-home for older adults, assessing and treating patients in their residences or independent living facilities.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans to improve cognitive, motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Instructing patients in adaptive device use and activities of daily living
• Supervising support personnel
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Ensuring compliance with documentation standards
• Maintaining equipment
• Promoting patient safety
• Delivering high-quality, compassionate care tailored to individual needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ACOTE-accredited program
• Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Valid state license
• Reliable means of transportation

Pay

Salary range: USD $77,000 to $108,000 annually
