Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

Part-time, 24 Hours/week Monday - Friday, Days Between the hours of 7:30AM & 6:30PM Onsite Akron, OH - Outpatient Summary The Occupational Therapist utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate/assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities. Responsibilities Utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate, assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.Communicates effectively with patient, family members, and team members as needed. Performs appropriate and necessary documentation and patient/family education.Supervises COTA/L, volunteer, or student per OT regulations. Other duties as required. Other Information Technical Expertise Experience in occupational therapy is required.Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.Experience in healthcare is preferred.Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Education And Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required; Master's degree is preferred.Certification: Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure is required.Years of relevant experience: Minimum 3 years is preferred.Years of experience supervising: None.
