Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

About the role

Seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist with hand therapy experience to join a multidisciplinary outpatient team. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments affecting work and leisure activities, and providing 1:1 patient care.

Responsibilities

• Developing treatment plans
• Educating patients and collaborating with healthcare providers
• Delegating tasks to assistants and students
• Participating in departmental projects to enhance care quality
• Establishing and implementing treatment strategies considering discharge needs
• Conducting assessments, consultations, and treatments following clinical guidelines
• Coordinating with healthcare teams on patient education
• Supporting staff development through appropriate task delegation

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred)
• 2-5 years of experience
• Supervision experience not required
• Board certification and licensure in area of expertise
