Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

Role Overview

This position is for a full-time Occupational Therapist specializing in hand therapy within an outpatient multidisciplinary setting. The therapist will perform evaluations and treatments for patients with physical impairments affecting work or leisure activities, collaborating with a team of therapists, assistants, and students.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional goals.
• Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making appropriate referrals.
• Delegate tasks to assistants and students, ensuring competency and quality of care.
• Conduct assessments, provide consultations, and deliver services aligned with clinical guidelines and department policies.
• Support staff development, care delivery improvements, and innovative projects.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience not required.
• Board certification and licenses in relevant area of expertise.
