About the role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dedicated team at PAM Health. The ideal candidate should have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning and adapting to the unique needs of our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, including planning and implementing specific treatment programs tailored to individual patients' needs.
• Adhere to the principles and practices of occupational therapy as defined by the PAM Health System.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans for patients.
• Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of occupational therapy services within the PAM Health System.
• Be flexible to work in various facilities across the PAM Health network.

Requirements

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of clinical experience in occupational therapy is preferred, but not required.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and other members of the patient's care team.
• Ability to adapt treatment plans to meet the changing needs of patients.
• Proficiency in using technology and resources available in the PAM Health System.
