About the role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dedicated team at PAM Health. The ideal candidate should have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning and adapting to the unique needs of our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, including planning and implementing specific treatment programs tailored to individual patients' needs.
• Implementing occupational therapy principles and practices in an age-appropriate manner.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participating in the development and improvement of occupational therapy services within the PAM Health System.
• Maintaining flexibility to support the needs of various facilities within the system.

Requirements

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of clinical experience in occupational therapy is preferred, but not required.

• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
