Occupational Therapist (OT) PRN
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team at Rehabilitation Hospital of Montana. Your role will be crucial in providing comprehensive care and support to patients recovering from various conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient’s ability to perform occupational skills.
- Create and implement an appropriate plan of care, including treatment type and frequency.
- Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
- Document subjective and objective findings of patient progress.
- Monitor and modify the plan of care as needed.
- Seek consultation as necessary.
- Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
- Plan and assist with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.
- Provide information regarding adaptive equipment and support programs.
- Supervise and delegate care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Montana State Licensure for Occupational Therapy.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
