Occupational Therapist (OT) | Long Term Care

About the Role

Responsible for coordinating and delivering occupational therapy services tailored to patients across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans, evaluates patient progress, and adjusts interventions accordingly. Provides direct therapy using various strategies and ensures documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes. Collaborates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize care and achieve treatment goals. Participates in program development, professional growth activities, and supervision of clinical interns. Upholds safety standards and complies with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Active occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of age-specific care and treatment strategies.
• Ability to assess, evaluate, and modify treatment plans based on patient needs.

Qualifications

Preferred 1-3 years of clinical experience.
