Position Summary: The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides direct rehabilitation care to patients through occupational therapy services, following physician referrals and legal standards. Responsibilities Include Developing and implementing patient treatment plans focused on activities of daily livingEstablishing, assessing, and modifying functional goalsOverseeing and evaluating care provided by OT Assistants, Rehab Aides, and studentsDocumenting patient progress accurately and timelyUtilizing therapy software effectivelyProviding excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitudeParticipating in emergency procedures and ensuring patient safetyCollaborating within an interdisciplinary teamMaintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with policies and regulations Qualifications And Skills NBCOT certification (renewal optional)Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT)Current state licensure in good standingCPR certification (obtained upon hire or during orientation)Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and emailStrong communication, reasoning, and judgment skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical ability to perform job functions including sitting, standing, lifting, and moving Key Duties: Follow treatment plans, evaluate and modify patient goals, supervise therapy staff, document care, and ensure safety and confidentiality.
