Responsibilities

• Help patients with debilitating conditions improve the functions of everyday tasks in the home.
• Develop daily living skills and basic motor functions through targeted treatments.
• Compensate for loss of function using appropriate therapeutic strategies.
• Administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services.
• Teach family members and other health‑care team members to support patient care.
• Provide services in accordance with physicians’ orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist/OT in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year of experience preferred; less experience may be considered with approval from the Regional Vice President or Regional Director of Therapy Services based on prior experience.
• Medicare home health experience preferred.
