About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating residents and developing individualized OT treatment plans
- Selecting activities to promote residents' independence in daily tasks
- Observing, assessing, and documenting therapy progress with detailed reports
- Maintaining resident confidentiality and fostering trust
- Collaborating effectively with the healthcare team
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Current New York State OT License
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
