About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Our approach aligns with evidence-based practices endorsed by the American Occupational Therapy Association, emphasizing quality care and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized OT treatment plans
• Select activities to promote residents' independence in daily tasks
• Observe, assess, and document therapy progress with detailed reports
• Maintain confidentiality to foster resident trust
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
• Current New York State OT License
• Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting preferred; new graduates with relevant experience encouraged to apply
