About the role

As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well by assessing their needs, developing recovery plans, and delivering occupational therapy. You design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence, while also training patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.

You will report to the Director of Rehab and work in a facility-based environment. Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized recovery plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities.
• Address the whole patient, recognizing their individual needs and goals.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license in the state of practice.

Pay

Posted salary range: USD $40.00 - USD $48.00 per hour, with a sign-on bonus of up to USD $25,000.00.
