About the role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. You will train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity, collaborate with peers, and make referrals as needed. The role is based in-facility, reporting to the Director of Rehab.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized recovery plans.
- Deliver occupational therapy to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities.
- Address the whole patient, treating them as an individual.
- Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adapt to the needs of patients and find joy in the variety of work and settings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
- Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
Pay
Posted salary range: USD $50.00 - USD $60.00 per hour. Bonus: USD $20,000.00, paid out over 2 years.
