About the role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help patients restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence. You will work in skilled nursing centers, assisted and independent living facilities, outpatient clinics, or home-based care settings, collaborating with peers and making referrals as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized recovery plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.
• Address the holistic needs of patients, treating them as individuals.
• Adapt to varying patient needs and work settings with flexibility and enthusiasm.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
• Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license in the state of practice.

Pay

Posted Salary Range: USD $45.00 - USD $52.00 per hour.
