About the Role

Responsible for delivering safe and effective Occupational Therapy services by conducting evaluations, treatments, and patient education to meet individual goals. Communicates professionally with patients, families, and team members to promote teamwork and optimal care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Implement therapy interventions to improve self-care, mobility, and independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy exercises and strategies.

Requirements

  • Current unencumbered Occupational Therapist license.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and cognitive conditions.
  • Strong communication, counseling, and business writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, manage time efficiently, and adapt in fast-paced environments.

Physical Demands

Includes lifting, climbing, reaching, manual dexterity, and mobility activities essential to patient care, performed with varying frequency to support therapy functions.
