Occupational Therapist-Neuro-PRN

About the role

We provide treatment for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neuro or complex ortho diagnoses in patients' own homes and communities. This position is for experienced Occupational Therapists who want to provide truly patient-centered care in Vista, CA and surrounding areas, with PRN positions available.

Our interdisciplinary teams create integrated treatment plans practiced in patients' homes and communities. Therapists are creative in their approach, incorporating a variety of activities to ignite interest while addressing functional goals, resulting in durable outcomes through an evidence-based approach.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment of impairments including upper extremity function
• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
• Visual and perceptual skills
• Cognitive needs
• Adaptive equipment needs
• Assistive technology needs

Requirements

• Completion of Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and state licensure is required
• Professional certification and/or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred
• Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
• Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
• Strong ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
