Occupational Therapist - Neuro - PRN

About the role

Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitation programs to improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families.
• Implement therapy activities, monitor progress, and adjust goals as needed.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and community resource referrals.
• Collaborate with physicians to establish treatment goals and discharge plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge summaries per departmental standards.
• Serve as a resource on rehabilitation services, equipment, and best practices.
• Uphold ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, and ensure safety protocols.
• Participate in staff meetings, ongoing education, and team activities.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification.
• Effective communication, teamwork, customer service orientation, and computer skills.
• No specific experience required.
