Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Therapy

About the role
The Occupational Therapist provides modalities and procedures in accordance with Departmental Policies and Procedures. The Therapist assesses and interprets patient data to meet acute needs across Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics, developing appropriate care plans and delivering patient/family education.
Responsibilities
- Provides input to improve department operations, equipment, and supply needs.
- Demonstrates a positive influence and recognizes the efforts of others.
- Assesses patients and develops appropriate care plans.
- Performs patient/family education and documents in the clinical map.
- Reviews medical charts and assesses patient’s medical status prior to initiation.
- Chooses and instructs patients in adaptive equipment.
- Produces documentation to support the delivery of Occupational Therapy.
- Adheres to company policies, procedures, and directives.
- Interacts in a positive and constructive manner.
- Prioritizes and multitasks effectively.
Requirements
- At least 1+ years of Inpatient Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
- Current BCLS-C Certification.
- Current California Occupational Therapy License.
Pay
$52.43/hr. – $76.01/hr. Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
