Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab (Float)

Role: Occupational Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patients' daily living activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies.Implement and adjust therapy activities, providing patient and family education, discharge instructions, and community resource referrals.Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans.Adhere to ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, and promote diversity and teamwork.Engage in professional development, mandatory training, and participate in staff activities.Communicate effectively with team members and patients, fostering a positive environment and excellent customer service. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, certification as an Occupational Therapist, BLS certification, a valid Georgia driver’s license, and private vehicle insurance. Skills: Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, basic computer skills, and ability to operate a personal vehicle for patient and facility travel.
