Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care by developing and implementing medically prescribed programs to maximize patient potential.

Responsibilities

• Performing patient evaluations, establishing treatment plans with measurable goals, and adjusting approaches based on patient response.
• Ensuring safe and ethical patient care in compliance with all regulations and documentation standards.
• Assisting with program evaluation, quality improvement, and coordination of workshops and activities.
• Serving as a resource and providing orientation and training to new staff and students.
• Educating patients and families, and communicating effectively with healthcare teams.
• Maintaining current knowledge of therapeutic advances and technology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current license or eligibility to practice in the state, with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations.
