Occupational Therapist, Inpatient

About the role

Provides direct patient care by creating tailored intervention plans to help patients develop, regain, or maintain daily living, work, and leisure skills. Facilitates participation in meaningful activities to promote independence and satisfaction, utilizing creative problem-solving and teaching adaptive techniques. Offers education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, safety, treatments, and equipment use. Collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes, models proficiency through precepting, and contributes to safety and quality at the point of care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-centered interventions

  • Improve patient independence and satisfaction through innovative, high-quality occupational therapy services

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy (Master’s preferred)
  • Current licensure in Colorado
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
