About the Role
This position is responsible for providing all aspects of occupational therapy services, including but not limited to: screening, examination, evaluation, care planning, treatment implementation, reassessment, discharge planning and education of pediatric through geriatric patients.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Performs an occupational therapy patient examination.
- Analyzes clinical findings to determine functional status/outcome after care.
- Designs an occupational therapy intervention plan.
- Performs occupational therapy intervention in a competent manner.
- Educates others using relevant and effective teaching methods.
- Produces documentation to support the delivery of occupational therapy services.
- Uses support personnel according to legal and ethical guidelines.
- Manages resources/incorporates economic factors into service delivery to achieve goals.
- Addresses the age specific needs of all population.
- Be at work and be on time.
- Follow company policies, procedures and directives.
- Interact in a positive and constructive manner.
- Prioritize and multitask.
Qualifications
- One year of clinical occupational therapy experience required. In lieu of this experience, consideration will be made for staff with strong education and associated experiential background.
- Current California Occupational Therapist licensure.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Card issued by the American Heart Association.
Pay
$60.00/hr.
