Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ functional status and occupational therapy needs
- Aid physicians in creating individualized therapy plans of care
- Offer occupational therapy services in compliance with state practice guidelines and physician orders
- Monitor patient progress and notify supervising nurse and physician of any condition changes
- Inform patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members about treatment plans, goals, and functional limitations
- Accurately and timely document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes according to company policy
- Create and execute occupational therapy plans of care in accordance with state-specific guidelines
- Deliver compassionate care in various home environments regardless of patient background or condition
Requirements
- Current Alabama Occupational Therapy License
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Current vehicle insurance
- Ability to travel within assigned coverage area

Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
