Occupational Therapist (Home Healthcare)

About the Role

This position involves providing occupational therapy services in home health settings. You will assess and evaluate patients' functional status, activities of daily living, and therapy needs while delivering care in diverse home environments.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' functional status, activities of daily living, and occupational therapy needs in accordance with state laws and the plan of care.
• Provide evidence-based therapy services within scope of practice, collaborating with healthcare team members to develop treatment plans.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment, document changes, and communicate findings to nurses and physicians.
• Conduct assessments to determine functional ability using diagnostic tests.
• Deliver care in diverse home environments, regardless of patient demographics.
• Work independently while managing multiple tasks and maintaining strong communication and organization.

Requirements

• Current occupational therapy licensure in the practicing state.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, or access to reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills

• CPR certification.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks independently.

Pay
