Occupational Therapist - Home Health

Role Overview: This position involves performing medically prescribed occupational therapy treatments to restore function and prevent disability following injury. The role requires assessing patient needs, developing and implementing comprehensive care plans, and demonstrating competency in occupational therapy principles, methods, materials, and equipment. Key Responsibilities Provide patient-centered, holistic care in home settings.Collaborate effectively within an integrated healthcare team.Use office equipment such as tablets and cell phones to document and communicate.Travel to patients' homes within the service area.Demonstrate professional procedures suitable for home care environments. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.Current state license and valid driver’s license.CPR certification required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Ability to assess patient needs and work as part of a healthcare team. Additional Requirements: Ability to travel within the service area and demonstrate professional procedures in home care settings.
