About the Role

This is a PRN position requiring flexibility to support evaluations and patient care, including availability on weekends. The role involves providing skilled occupational therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and patient education.

The role may involve community work and offers mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rates. It is suitable for individuals seeking a secondary role with weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement individualized treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional goals.
• Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making referral recommendations as needed.
• Delegate interventions to assistants, techs, and students based on their skill levels, ensuring appropriate competence.
• Complete documentation per departmental policies.
• Conduct assessments, reassessments, and consultations related to occupational therapy services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT); Master’s preferred.
• Valid driver's license and occupational therapist licensure.
• No prior experience required; supervisory experience not necessary.
