Occupational Therapist - Home Health

About the Role

This occupational therapist position involves providing medically prescribed treatments to restore function and prevent disability following injury. The role requires assessing patient needs, developing and implementing comprehensive care plans, and collaborating within an integrated healthcare team. The therapist must travel to patients' homes within the service area, demonstrate professional procedures in home care settings, and utilize office equipment such as tablets and cell phones.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Valid license in the practice state
• CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess needs, develop care plans, and work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to patients’ homes
