Occupational Therapist - Home Health

About the role

This position involves providing skilled occupational therapy services to patients, including all aspects of evaluation and treatment. Responsibilities include establishing treatment plans, educating and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers, delegating tasks to assistants and students, and documenting care in accordance with policies. The role may support alternative hours and weekend availability to assist with patient evaluations and care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment plans considering patient discharge needs and equipment
• Educate and coordinate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure proper documentation
• Conduct assessments, reassessments, and consultations for occupational therapy services

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid Occupational Therapist License
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience is not required, but preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
