About the role

The position is based at Summerlin Hospital, part of the Valley Health System (VHS), which operates six hospitals in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada. Summerlin Hospital is an accredited Chest Pain with PCI facility and a Primary Stroke Center, known for its commitment to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive evaluation of performance components affecting ADL functioning.
• Offer goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum level of independence.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from a university program meeting AOTA academic and internship requirements.
• Licenses/Certifications: Nevada State License as a Registered Occupational Therapist, current NBCOT certification, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
