OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (FULL TIME DAYS) OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

About the role

The position involves providing a comprehensive evaluation of performance components affecting ADL functioning and providing goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum level of independence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients to improve their ability to perform daily activities independently.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from a university program satisfying AOTA academic and intern requirements for competence.
• Licenses/Certifications: Nevada State License as a Registered Occupational Therapist, current NBCOT certification, and current BLS certification.
• Experience: Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
• Other: Must be able to work as a Graduate of Occupational Therapy with recognition of the Board of Occupational Therapist Examiners under on-site direct supervision.
