Occupational Therapist (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN)

About the Role

Assess and evaluate patients' functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor skills, home environment, and adaptive equipment needs in a home health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide services within legal scope, adhering to evidence-based techniques and collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Evaluate patient function, document CMS requirements, and consult with physicians on therapy plans.
• Monitor, record, and report patient responses and condition changes to supervisors and physicians.
• Conduct assessments using diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests.
• Function effectively in diverse home situations regardless of demographic factors.
• Perform patient visits and non-visit activities, paid accordingly.

Requirements

• Current state licensure in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation.

Skills

• CPR certification (preferred).
• Multitasking, independence, communication, and organizational skills.
