Occupational Therapist - CSE Full Time - $2,000 sign-on bonus

Evaluate

• Evaluate the child's gross motor skills, reflexes, reactions, muscle tone, passive and active range of motion, upper extremity functioning/fine motor skills, sensory processing, cognitive and visual perceptual skills, ADL skills and equipment needs.

Develop Treatment Plan

• Based on evaluation and physician's request, develop treatment plan, goals for child.
• Order and/or fabricate supplies, equipment and orthotics needed to carry out each child's treatment plan.

Treatment Sessions

• Conduct occupational therapy treatment sessions as appropriate.

Progress Notes & Care Plans

• Develop monthly progress notes and 180 care plans/reevaluations and discharge summaries.

Infection Control & Safety

• Comply with all infection control and safety guidelines.
• (i.e. disinfection of toys, equipment)

Location & Start Date

This is a school based position in Roslyn with a September start date.

Requirements

• Formal education required: Bachelors Degree In Occupational Therapy
• Registered Occupational Therapist, licensed In New York State
• Previous Experience Required: Two years pediatrics experience, preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
