About the role
As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy. You design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence, while addressing the whole patient as an individual. You train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity, and collaborate with peers while making referrals to ensure comprehensive care.

Reporting to the Director of Rehab, you’ll work in a facility-based environment. Powerback values growth and understands the caregiver experience—our CEO is a former staff therapist. We offer clear paths forward and are committed to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized recovery plans.
- Deliver occupational therapy to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.
- Address the whole patient, recognizing their individual needs and goals.
- Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adapt to varied patient needs and work settings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
- Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license in the state of practice.

Pay
Posted Salary Range: USD $37.00 - USD $45.00 per hour. Bonus: USD $10,000.00.
