Job Description Open Sky provides innovative, person-centered services that support individuals and families in developing the skills, resilience, and confidence needed to achieve their personal, educational, vocational, and life goals. The Occupational Therapist provides services across multiple programs and settings, supporting individuals in achieving greater independence and participation in daily life. Working collaboratively with individuals, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams, the Occupational Therapist contributes to the assessment process, develops and implements individualized treatment plans, and provides therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings. The Occupational Therapist helps individuals build the skills necessary to successfully navigate everyday activities, strengthen functional abilities, and improve overall quality of life. Other Key Responsibilities Assess functional abilities, identify barriers to participation, and contribute recommendations to individualized intervention plans.Identify sensory processing challenges and implement appropriate sensory strategies, environmental modifications, and adaptive approaches to support success across settings.Provide therapeutic interventions to individuals and families in both individual and group formats.Communicate evaluation findings and treatment recommendations through verbal and written reports while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary team members.Develop and implement individualized Occupational Therapy treatment plans based on each individual's strengths, needs, goals, and priorities.Provide training, coaching, and support related to community participation, independent living skills, activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), and other functional life skills.Promote skill development, self-advocacy, problem-solving, and increased independence across home, school, work, and community environments. Qualifications Must possess a current Massachusetts License and National Board certification as an Occupational Therapist.Previous experience working with youth and young adults with mental health challenges, required.Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving history, required.
