Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals in coordination with the ABA team.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, sensory integration, self-help skills, and adaptive behaviors.
  • Work closely with behavior analysts to ensure therapy goals are aligned with the overall ABA treatment plan.
  • Monitor and track client progress, adjusting interventions as needed to meet goals.
  • Provide family and caregiver education and support to ensure carryover of therapy goals in the home and community.
  • Document all sessions and maintain accurate, up-to-date client records.
  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress, challenges, and any changes to the treatment plan.
  • Offer training and consultation to staff on the integration of OT strategies within ABA programs.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in NJ.
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Experience conducting evaluations and implementing treatment plans for pediatric clients (or relevant population).
  • Knowledge of sensory integration, motor development, and activities of daily living.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary, ABA-based treatment model.
  • Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and attention to documentation standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and/or developmental disabilities.

Location & Schedule

This is an in-person role based out of our Voorhees, NJ EI center. Expected caseload between 10-20 hours weekly.

Pay

The expected salary range for this role is $75.00 - $85.00 per hour. Final compensation will be based on a range of factors, such as your skills, education, experience, certifications, market conditions, and internal equity.
