About the role

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides direct rehabilitation care in occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, following all applicable laws and standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Document patient progress accurately and timely
• Utilize therapy software as required
• Ensure patient safety and uphold patient rights
• Collaborate with patients, families, and support teams to meet patient needs
• Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies

Requirements

• NBCOT certification (renewal optional)
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
• Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
• CPR certification

Experience is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are welcome.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
