Essential Functions
- Provide direct occupational therapy to children and follows documented treatment plans or protocols.
- Help patient accomplish goals outlined in treatment plan to increase independence in activities of daily living skills by administering therapeutic activities, and therapeutic exercises, and sensory skills.
- Document patient performance such as tallying data.
- Prepare therapy materials and/or equipment for use in therapy activities.
- Adapt or modify materials and equipment as determined by the needs of the patient.
- May work in a variety of settings including clinic, ranch, or telehealth services.
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written formats.
- Collaborate with team members of other disciplines as well as administrative staff.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Assure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs; recommending and/or providing assistive equipment with primary occupational therapist.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Possess a valid California COTA License
- Pediatric experience a plus!
- Clear Livescan
- TB Test
- CPR Healthcare Provider Card
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility

- Have a desire to continue to grow as a professional
- Regularly stand, bend, stoop, lift and move intermittently during shift
- Able to lift up to a minimum of 50lbs
- Able to push or pull wheeled items over 100lbs.
Pay
$62,400.00 - $72,800.00 per year
