Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Position Overview

In this role, you’ll work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain function, adapt to daily challenges, and live more independently. You’ll be part of a supportive team that prioritizes patient-centered care and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in the implementation of personalized treatment plans
• Guide patients through therapeutic activities and adaptive techniques
• Monitor and document patient progress and performance
• Provide education and encouragement to patients and families
• Collaborate closely with the Occupational Therapist and care team

Qualifications

• Active Illinois COTA license (or willingness to obtain)
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of recent clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient rapport skills
