Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) providing direct occupational therapy care under supervision in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Implement and follow occupational treatment plans
- Document patient progress
- Utilize therapy software
- Assist in patient evacuation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and quality of life
- Participate in community health projects
- Make independent decisions when needed
- Maintain professional relationships
- Ensure patient safety
- Demonstrate professionalism and dependability in daily tasks
Requirements
- NBCOT certification
- Active state licensure
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
- CPR certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Adherence to safety, confidentiality, and company policies
- Good body mechanics and reasoning abilities
- Positive attitude towards patient care
