About the role

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides direct occupational therapy care in skilled nursing facilities, supporting patients with long-term care and short-term rehabilitation needs.

Responsibilities

Follow treatment plans under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, document patient progress, utilize therapy software, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

Certified by NBCOT, licensed in the state, with preferred one year of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply. Proficient in Microsoft Office, excellent communication, professionalism, and adherence to safety, confidentiality, and company policies are essential.

• Implement occupational therapy plans and assist patients in achieving functional goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely charting
• Provide excellent patient service and support interdisciplinary communication
