About the role

Looking for an Occupational Health Job with one of India’s leading power companies? Adani Power is hiring a Factory Medical Officer for its Thermal Power Plant in Korba, Chhattisgarh.

Responsibilities

• Providing medical care and treatment to employees in case of injury or illness
• Conducting regular health check-ups and screenings to ensure employee well-being
• Managing medical emergencies and coordinating with external healthcare providers when necessary
• Developing and implementing health and safety programs to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses
• Collaborating with HR and Safety departments to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Participating in incident investigations and providing medical expertise in risk assessments
• Training employees on first aid, safety protocols, and health awareness
• Maintaining medical records and reports in accordance with company policies and legal requirements

Requirements

• MBBS degree with AFIH certification
• 8-13 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
