Obstetrician - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

Provides obstetric care in a 25-bed facility, supporting clinic and full-scope services with on-site coverage.

Responsibilities

• Manage obstetric clinic duties
• See approximately 16–20 adult patients daily
• Handle low-volume deliveries and C-sections
• Participate in call coverage via clinic and beeper calls

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in Obstetrics is negotiable
• Experience in obstetric care preferred
• Ability to work independently in a clinical setting with support from OB RNs, Respiratory Therapists, and CRNAs

Key Duties

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care in a clinic setting
• Manage a patient load of 16–20 patients daily
• Perform low-volume deliveries and C-sections
• Participate in on-site call coverage and beeper call responsibilities
• Ensure continuity of obstetric services
